Hey Beautiful! I am so excited you decided to stop by today.
Some people become doctors, speech language pathologists, or politicians - some throw themselves into the world of finance or sales, and some run full steam into the sciences. These practical jobs have their place on this earth and I’m grateful to have been in one of these fields (speech language pathology) for 30 years.
To my amazing ladies, high school seniors or my beautiful brides, CONGRATULATIONS! This is your year!
This year you will make tons of memories and I am grateful that you are looking at EYEPOPPHOTO to help capture some of those memories.
I am my happiest when I'm surrounded by the energy of others, living life to the fullest. To the core, I am a lover of people. Feeling connected to others keeps my compassion-driven heart active and happy! I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge when it comes to photography.
Some would call me a perfectionist, but I call it simply caring about my clients and respecting the passion and talent that God gave me. Nothing is more gratifying than seeing the positive expressions on individual's faces when they see the images from their shoot.
After retiring from my full time job as a Speech Language Pathologist for 30 years, I purchased my first DSLR Canon Camera. My husband actually asked me, "Why did you have to buy the most expensive camera on the market"? My response was .... " I was deciding between a Red Convertible BMW - or a camera." (Maybe going through midlife crisis ? LOL!) I chose the camera.
At that time, I became a "serial" student, constantly working to hone my craft. I have learned a TON about photography & how to design/build a website via youtube. (who would think?...) Lighting, posing, body angles, editing, setup - I have you covered all the way down to posing your hands. I love meeting new clients whether it's a couple newly engaged, graduating high school senior or a woman who has forgotten how to find her inner vixen. All of my sessions and clients, are incredible and my favorite thing about my job is that no photoshoots are the same!
I like to elevate my senior portraits above the usual cliches by merging the senior portrait genre with fashion photography to create a hybrid genre. This results in more interesting photos than the usual "boy with a soccer ball, or girl in a flower field" shot. I can certainly do the typical senior portraits, but I can recommend also trying something that is more interesting. Check out my "Creative Gallery"
